Puppies are all handled and loved from a very young age. All of our puppies are socialized starting very early. All of our dogs have room to roam and are not kept in small cages. Our puppies all go home with AKC/CKC limited (pet) registration, current shots and deworming administered by our veterinarian along with a genetic health guarantee.

At Sassy Tails we raise miniatures. However, it is not uncommon to have one to grow larger than a mini since miniature dachshunds all were originally standard. The dachshund breed is very easy to maintain and care for. Dachshunds can have a long life span and can easily live more than 15 years. Dachshunds are confident, playful and make excellent family pets. Be prepared for them to follow you constantly.  If you do not like them to be clingy, then they are not the breed for you.

PLEASE NOTE - a deposit will be required if requesting a special puppy of your choice if it requires us to breed specifically to get that particular one or to hold a particular one requested in advance. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. We accept Cash or Cash app. Deposits go towards the total balance of the puppy.
